The studio most closely follows the McKinney ISD calendar. The studio is often open on teacher workdays and some federal holidays, so check your calendar carefully. Fall Term 2025 August 2025 Lessons resume Monday 8/18, Tuesday 8/19, Wednesday 8/20, Thursday 8/21 September 2025 1 Labor day - Studio closed October 2025 13 - 17 MISD Student Fall Break - Studio closed November 2025 - CAnned food Drive begins 17 - 20 Fall recitals every day at the studio starting at 5:30 PM Students not participating in recitals may need to change appointments 24 - 28 thanksgiving break - studio closed December 2025 19 Community Performance @ Pioneer Ridge Retirement Home at 5:00 22 - Jan 2 winter break - studio closed Spring Term 2026 January 2026 5 - 8 Lessons Resume Monday 1/5, Tuesday 1/6, Wednesday 1/7 & Thursday 1/8 19 MLK Observance - studio open for regular appointments February 2026 16 MISD Staff Day- studio open for regular appointments March 2026 16 - 20 spring break - studio closed 23 misd staff day - studio open for regular appointments April 2026 6 and 27 MISD Bad Weather Days - studio open even if MISD is closed May 2026 5-11 Final lessons of term & Progress Reports 12 Final Make Up day - (if needed) Thursday 14 Student Recitals 5:30 and 7:30 (Our Savior Lutheran Church) summer Term 2026 8 week summer Term - Tuesdays/Wednesdays only June 2 thru July 22.
